Upgrade the nachos please, I knew they only had cheese and green onions, but there was hardly any. Great server. The Garden Burger was good, foods a little pricey

First time we stopped here. I was pleased. Good food and good service.

The chicken is terrible. Don't believe the other people. The "buffalo wings" are not buffalo wings. They were premade already breaded and frozen from a bag. They were massively over cooked. The place is dirty and should be shut down. The carpets are so worn you can see concrete everywhere. The bathrooms were discussing. I am pretty sure drunks just piss on the floor. If I could leave a zero star review I would.

Exactly what you'd expect from a dive bar - and that's not a bad thing. Toye makes the best Bloody Mary in town and Sunday eggs Benny breakfasts are a definite tradition.

Not impressed with our experience at this bar. Buffalo chicken was dry and didn’t have buffalo sauce, frys were still frozen, all of the food we ordered was bland. Beer came in a water pitcher for four people and was overpriced. The place was dirty, and staff were loud and were complaining to customers about a small tip they received . If I could give a zero star rating I would.

Perfect service, good comfort food, great bar atmosphere

This is a cool little dive bar in a small "town" called Alger. They're most-widely known for their chicken, which is actually quite good, but I've also ordered their chicken at a time when it was not done very well. Still a spot worth checking out.

Great place with a solid menu, and a notoriously great pour. Local place for the most part, but the broasted chicken and jojo's are worth a drive. Decor is dated, but also flavorful.

The food is delicious, the servers very attentive and friendly, and the restaurant is clean and fun.

Well, good selection of beer ,amazingly good quesadillas. So-So help.

Love this little place! My favorite is their hamburger 🍔 and crinkled fries plus relish....to die for!!! Hamburger is juicy and fries so fresh.

You wouldnt know it by driving past it, but Alger Bar and Grill is a treat for those that crave the small town atmosphere. We weren't hassled by a wait staff, but received prompt service. Their food was really good too.

authentic small town roadside bar. decent selection of beer/wine. food menu is reasonably priced but nothing that jumps up at you and says "try me again!". service is fine but uninspired. the building itself is interesting and has a cool history

A little off the beaten path but definitely worth trying. Burger and fries for under $10 is rare anymore but you'll find that here. Along with plenty of other food options. Surprisingly large beer selection also. I'll definitely go back

Dive Bar with sticky floors/seats and decor is severely outdated... I feel like I need to take a shower and get a penicillin shot after leaving there.

Best chicken in town!

Best fried chicken, wonderful tartar sauce! They've redone the breakfast menu and it is wonderful now! The sauces are made from scratch now as are the biscuits, really kicks it up a notch! They also make the corned beef for the hash now so it's amazing! If you haven't been in a while stop back in and enjoy the changes!!!
